Privacy Policy
2026/10/15
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PixRemove ("we", "us", or "the service") collects, uses, and handles your personal information and digital assets. By visiting or using pixremove.com and its related services, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and authentication credentials provided during sign-up or sign-in.
- User assets and generated content: images and files you upload, output files and derivative assets produced by the service, and associated technical metadata.
- Usage data: activity logs, processing history, feature usage, error logs, and session metrics.
- Device and connection data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and standard server access logs.
- Billing records: purchase history, subscription status, and invoices. Payment card details are processed directly by compliant third-party payment gateways and are never stored on our servers.
3. Handling and Protection of Your Assets
Your uploaded assets are processed solely to provide the processing, cutout, and export services you request.
- No AI Model Training: We strictly never use your uploaded images, portraits, commercial product photos, signatures, or generated outputs to train, fine-tune, or validate any public, internal, or third-party AI models. Your proprietary media remains 100% confidential.
- No sale or publication: We do not sell your original files or generated outputs, nor do we publish, display, or monetize them without your explicit written consent.
- Storage of your files: Uploaded images and their cutouts are stored securely so you can view and download them again from your history. To have them deleted, email support@pixremove.com from your registered address.
- Third-party processing: To execute compute pipelines and storage, we work with enterprise cloud infrastructure providers bound by strict confidentiality and data protection standards.
- De-identified metrics: Aggregated and anonymized performance data that cannot reasonably be linked to you or your files may be used to maintain and optimize the service.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information strictly to: operate and deliver core services, verify identity and credit balances, process payments, provide customer support, detect and prevent abuse or fraud, comply with legal obligations, and improve product performance.
5. Data Retention and Cleanup
- Uploaded and generated files: Kept with your account so you can return to them. We delete them when you ask us to by email.
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account remains active. Upon account deletion, personal data is removed, except where retention is required for legal, financial, or security compliance.
6. Third-Party Services
Operating the service involves third-party providers for cloud hosting, AI compute, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. Each provider accesses only the data strictly necessary for its function and is bound by confidentiality agreements.
7. Security and User Responsibility
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards. Users remain responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
8. Your Rights
You can review, update, or export your account information from your settings, or delete your account at any time. For privacy inquiries, contact support@pixremove.com from your registered email.
9. Children's Privacy
The service is not intended for anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe such data has been collected, please contact us for immediate deletion.
10. International Transfers
The service and its data storage infrastructure may be located outside your jurisdiction. By using the service, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred and processed in these locations.
11. PixRemove Browser Extension
The PixRemove extension for Chrome and Edge is part of the service and follows this policy. In particular:
- What it reads: only the images you choose — one you right-click and send to PixRemove, or one you upload, drop, paste, or link in its side panel. It does not read the pages you visit, your browsing history, or any other content.
- What it sends: the image you chose, and, when your browser cannot read that image directly, its address, so that pixremove.com can fetch it. These are processed exactly like an upload on the website (sections 2–5) and appear in your history there.
- Your account: the extension uses your existing pixremove.com sign-in. It never asks for or stores your password.
- Stored on your device: your extension settings (theme, language, preview background) and the images waiting in the current batch. The batch is cleared when the browser closes.
- No other use: data from the extension is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.
12. Policy Changes and Contact
We may update this policy periodically. The current version will always be posted on this page with its effective date; material changes will be communicated via on-site notice or email. For questions, contact support@pixremove.com or reach out via our contact page.
