Question 1

Are purchased credits universal across all tools? What features are included?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Credits from a subscription or a credit pack work across PixRemove — background removal, the object remover and the editor's AI tools — with no extra add-ons.

Question 2

How are credits calculated and deducted? Are failed tasks refunded?

Accepted Answer

Credit costs are calculated based on the processing complexity and computational cost of each tool and configuration (different tools and output settings consume different credits). The required credits are always clearly displayed before you start a run with zero hidden fees; you can track detailed deduction history for each task in your [Usage Records](/billing?tab=usage). If a task fails, times out, or encounters an error, held credits are 100% automatically refunded immediately.

Question 3

Can I get an invoice or billing receipt? Where can I download it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After every subscription renewal or pack purchase, a receipt is automatically sent to your registered email. You can also visit [Billing Settings](/billing) at any time to access the customer portal, view your transaction history, and download official PDF invoices with one click.

Question 4

What do I get for free, and what do paid credits add?

Accepted Answer

Without an account you can remove 2 backgrounds a day for free, and signing up adds free welcome credits. Paid credits are simply more volume: the cut-out quality and the output resolution are the same.

Question 5

What is the difference between subscriptions and credit packs? Can they stack?

Accepted Answer

Monthly plans renew every billing cycle at the lowest rate. Credit packs are one-time buys valid for 365 days with no renewal. Both stack; soonest-expiring credits are used first.

Question 6

Do you offer refunds? What are the eligibility rules?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your first purchase can be refunded within 14 days if you have used no more than 20% of its credits, and a renewal you forgot to cancel within 7 days if none of its credits are used. Refunds are paid minus the payment processing fee. Failed images never use credits. See the full [Refund Policy](/refunds).
