Drop in a folder of hundreds or thousands of photos and every cut-out is saved straight to your disk — with the same account and credits as the website.

- macOS 11 or later · Apple silicon and Intel
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
PixRemove, wherever you work
One account and the same credits on the web, in the desktop app and in your browser.
PixRemove for Windows
Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
Coming soonFrom a folder to finished files in three steps
- 1
Drop a folder in
Drag in a folder, a few files or a whole drive. Subfolders come along.
- 2
It works through the pile
Backgrounds go one by one while you get on with something else.
- 3
Saved next to your work
Transparent PNGs land in your output folder, in the same structure.
Made for the batch, not the single photo
Everything the website does for one image, the app does for a folder — and it keeps going when your laptop doesn't.
Drop a whole folder
Subfolders included. Results are saved in the same folder structure, so a catalogue comes out the way it went in.
Picks up where it stopped
Quit, crash, lose Wi-Fi or run out of credits — the queue resumes on its own. Nothing is processed or charged twice.
Pay only for what works
1 credit per image, shown before you start. Images that fail are never charged.
Watched folder
Point it at a folder and new images are processed automatically, even with the window closed.
Questions about the desktop app
Yes. The app signs in with the same account as the website, through your browser, and your credits are shared between the two.
The app is free. Each image uses 1 credit, exactly as on the website, and new accounts get 10 free credits. Images that fail are never charged.
Each image is sent to PixRemove to remove its background, and the result is saved back to your computer. Uploaded originals are deleted within 24 hours.
No. Add as many as you have; queues of thousands of images are what the app is built for.
The app checks for new versions on its own and installs one when you click Update — never in the middle of a batch.
